Alone (Hindi) is also a Copied Product

‘Bollywood’ is not new to the term ‘copycat’. There are 100s of movies copied from other language films. The long long numbers of copycat movies in Bollywood simply makes us shy. When few makers are trying to take the industry to a greater level, there are many makers who want it to be down here itself. Check this latest –

In an interview Bipasha Basu claimed that the director, Bhushan Patel’s earlier films (Ragini MMS and 1920) were highly influenced by others (!!!) and that his latest film – ‘Alone’ is his first film which is truly ‘his’ own.

Now: Few scenes of Bhushan Patel’s own – ‘Alone’ are shameless copy of the short film – ‘Lights Out’ dir by David F. Sandberg.
