Sila Samayangalil (In Some Situations) written and directed by Priyadarshan starring Prakash Raj, Ashok Selvan and Sriya Reddy in the lead roles was selected for the final round of the 74th Annual Golden Globe Awards. Music was composed by Ilaiyaraaja while director-director of Photography Sameer Thahir handled the cinematography. Sameer Thahir was cameraman of the Malayalam blockbuster “Bangalore Days” and the director of Dulquer Salmaan’s “Kali” and “Neelaakasham Pachcha Kadal Chuvanna Bhoomi”.
The movie is about five different characters who meet up at a pathological lab to have their blood tested. The movie is the happenings of the events in the lab within a day. The film was shot within twenty five days with the artists recording their voice on the location.
