Geethu Mohandas’s Moothon will be premiered at 44th annual Toronto International Film Festival is scheduled to be held from 5 to 15 September 2019. Moothon will be premiered in ‘Special Presentations’ category. The film written and directed by Geetu Mohandas is jointly produced by Anurag Kashyap, Ajay G. Rai and Alan McAlex.
The story is said to be about a 14 year old boy from Lakshadweep who comes Mumbai in search of his elder brother.
Moothon stars Nivin Pauly, Sobhita Dhulipala and Shashank Arora. It is bilingual made in Malayalam and Hindi. Moothon will open the 21st Mumbai Film Festival, 2019. It has attracted critics and audience far before its public release itself. Waiting.
