Oviya, the star of Big Boss Tamil. Born on April 29, 1991 at Thrissur, Kerala started her film career with two Prithviraj starrer Malayalam movies (Kangaroo and Puthiya Mukham). Soon she entered Tamil film industry with ‘Kalavani’. She went on to star in Merina, Kalakalappu, Moodar Koodam, Madha Yaanai Koottam and Pulivaal. But her career graph was going downwards. Now, once again things does look bright. Reality show ‘Big Boss’ of Vijay TV has gained her enormous amount of fans all around Tamil Nadu, even though she is unaware about this. She is inside the Big Boss show while writing. Support for Oviya increased rapidly after 10 episodes. She was very sweet with everybody, innocent in talking, childishness in enjoying and courageous in standing alone. On 21st July, Vijay TV released a video from Big Boss Tamil showing every other participants joining together showing their hatred towards Oviya. The video also showed Oviya in sad mood and crying. People in social media came up with high support for Oviya.
Oviya is 26 year old and her original name is Helen Nelson. What is waiting for her in the industry will be a box of surprises. Hope she gets good characters and bigger movies.
