10. “Kadaseela Biriyani” directed by Nishanth Kalidindi

Out of box. Felt as if it is directed by the assistant of Lijo Jose Pallissery. Suspenseful and hilarious. Raw and dramatic.

Like a good film noir, there is a lot of tension running throughout. Everybody is after somebody. “Raththam Therikka Therikka Oru Gangster Film“. The movie is stylish and brutal. Fantastic for most of the way. Bharathiraja delivers the performance of his acting career. Vasanth Ravi is perfect as Rocky.

6. “Sivaranjiniyum Innum Sila Pengalumdirected by Vasanth

An anthology film about three ordinary real-to-life women so beautifully bursting with the sights of life’s reality. The year’s most moving film. A precious movie with with strong performances.
