Movie: Urumeen. Director: Sakthivel Perumalsamy. Music: Achu.
The intense Trailer of Urumeen created enough buzz and now the music tracks too. Except the first song, all other tracks have that feel which the trailer gave us.
The first song is, ‘Baby Baby’, a rhythmic gana song which might work with visuals. A slow to fast to slow dance song. No wrong in trying this song. ‘Hey Umayaal…’ is a usual track which is passable. It works after few repeat plays, thanks to Vijay Yesudas. Best parts of the album are coming. Karthik’s ‘Siru Nadai…’ expresses great feelings and it has beautiful lyrics too. This song works in such a way that it tempt us to support Achu – ‘he’ll turn into a great composer’. Then pops-out, our pick – ‘Yaadhum Oorae..’ Few seconds into this song, towards the first minute, gives you massive Goosebumps. Looks like it is straight from heaven! No? At least from Chennai? Ok. This track is worth few moments of yours.
‘யாதும் ஊரே யாவரும் கேளிர் தீதும் நன்றும் பிறர்தர வாரா’ Grab it and add to your play list. – 3.5/5
