Victims of the Abusive Fans and Unethical Media Reporting #Malayalam

The most recent victims of unethical and unprofessional media reporting of the online media mixed with abusive ‘star’ fans are Reshma Rajan, Rima Kallingal, Vineeth Sreenivasan and Murali Gopi. The Angamaly Diaries actress landed in trouble after few online media twist-reported her comments regarding Mammootty in a television channel show. The ugly face of fandom popped out against Anna Rajan, and started abusing her. This forced the actor to apologise. Anna Rajan came Facebook-LIVE to clear the confusion regarding the false news. Sadly, the actress broke down during the live video while seeking an apology to the fans.

The whole issue started during a TV show where the anchor asked her who she will choose if she is offered a role in a movie with Dulquer Salmaan and Mammootty. She answered that she would like to play as Dulquer Salmaan’s pair, while Mammootty plays the role of Dulquer Salmaan’s dad. She also added ‘If Mammootty is the hero, let Dulquer be the father’. Anyway, this angered Mammootty fans. This comment was taken as an insult by Mammootty fans. Especially, this increased after few online media’s started posting it as if she said ‘Mammootty should act in father characters’.

She said (in Facebook LIVE) “I sincerely apologise to the fans of Mammootty and Dulquer if my statement has hurt you”

 

Harsh memes and abuse from fans didn’t stop till actress Rima Kallingal reacted to this issue supporting Anna Rajan. And now started abusing Rima!

Few days back, Murali Gopi posted regarding Dileep’s Ramaleela in FaceBook. He quoted “If you have a friend who says we should not watch this movie at any cost, and will not allow even if you are trying to, then tell them that ‘this is the real fascism”

Anyway, once again – those actor Dileep’ fans that don’t check what is inside the link started barking at Murali Gopi.

Vineeth Sreenivasan – One of the most favourites of Malayalies. Thats the best way to call Vineeth. He landed in trouble when he shared the video of Mohanlal’s version of Jimikki Kammal. The singer-actor-director shared the video with the caption “Wowwww! Lal uncle’s version of Jimikki Kammal!” This irked Mohanlal fans. How can ‘anybody’ call ‘Lalettan’ as ‘Uncle’!
